LiveNeutral is operated by ClimateCHECK, leading experts in greenhouse gas standards and technologies, and also the co-founders of the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute, the leading global greenhouse gas training organization. To offer high quality emission reduction credits to its customers, LiveNeutral buys offsets from Greenhouse Gas Services LLC, a GE AES Venture. - Education: LiveNeutral is one of the only organizations that provides climate change education as well as carbon emission offset services. We teach you everything you need to know about climate change and we show you ways to reduce your own carbon footprint. We also offer customized educational programs for corporate engagements that help organizations share knowledge and inspire action among their employees, customers, and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Through its collaboration with Greenhouse Gas Services LLC, LiveNeutral allows you to get involved with innovative projects and technologies that help mitigate global warming. In other words, you offset your own carbon emissions by supporting clean technology solutions.

In the spring of 2005, through the efforts of the founding LiveNeutral team, the Presidio School of Management became an associate member of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX). LiveNeutral worked through Presidio’s membership in the CCX to begin offering individuals and organizations an opportunity to connect directly to this innovative market for large-scale emissions reductions.
The LiveNeutral founding team of then Presidio MBA students, was Jason Smith, Kim Fox, Jorgen Vos, and Bob Gower, along with the irreplaceable assistance of then Presidio Board Member, Shep Burton.
In January of 2008 LiveNeutral spread its wings and became an enterprise of ClimateCHECK, an innovative and market-leading team of greenhouse gas experts. This merger has allowed LiveNeutral access to the information and tools it needs to stay current on the science, policy, and markets behind solving climate change.
In Spring of 2009, after years of working with the Chicago Climate Exchange, LiveNeutral chose another platform to source high-quality carbon credits. We now work with Greenhouse Gas Services LLC, a GE AES Venture because their standard of practice, project protocols, and project portfolio represent integrity, transparency, and the real types of solutions needed to address climate change. We feel confident that our members will appreciate this transition and be inspired to continue supporting LiveNeutral’s efforts to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions associated with global climate change.
The GHG Experts at ClimateCHECK have been major contributors to the development and application of GHG standards, protocols and programs used globally to establish best practices in the carbon markets and to achieve the double dividend of environmental and economic growth. ClimateCHECK helps organizations create value from their GHG investments while setting the standard of excellence in profitable, credible, and effective climate action. Their services go beyond creating emissions inventories and buying and selling credits. Greenhouse Gas Services, LLC invests in and develops a diverse range of projects that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and supplies organizations and investors with real, independently verified GHG credits.
